مسعود با انتقاد از حكومت كرزی افزود: 'طالبان كساني هستند كه هم در كویته پاكستان از جمعیت بزرگی برخوردار و هم در بعضي از نهادهاي حكومتي ، از نفوذ قابل ملاحظه ای برخوردارهستند.'

وی گفت: مردم افغانستان در برابر دشمني قرار گرفته است كه این دشمن، گاهی در كویته پاكستان ، برخی اوقات در مهمانخانه هاي حكومت فعلي و گاهي هم در كاخ ریاست جمهوري حضور دارد.
